Commissioned by a racing cyclist as a motivational poster for his training room featuring his favorite brand. This work is based on a photograph used by Look Cycles and their logo itself, inspired by the classic designs of Mondrian.
 
This is the first work in a more commerical graphic style. It represents a forst foray by the artist into the "hardedge" painting style which came to the fore in California in the 1960s. Using the new range of "Soflat" matt paints from Golden Paints launched in 2022 the flat areas of colour flirt with a bygone era in poster art. Contrast is provided by picking out the main subject with an overlay in Windsor & Newton gloss acrylic medium.
